Ecuador, blessed by its location and orography, is one of the few countries where the most consumed types of coffee around the world are produced. These are: Arabica and Robusta coffee.
Coffee cultivation in Ecuador is a tradition which dates back to 1830's. And, thanks to its ecosystems diversity and fertile lands, the coffee production has extended throughout the Ecuadorian territory.
We can find different types of coffee in coastal lands such as Manabí, Guayas and El Oro; New coffee aromas in the provinces of Napo and Orellana which are located in the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest; we can taste new coffee flavors in the high and cold lands of Loja, Pichincha, Imbabura and Carchi; and even, we can discover new experiences with the coffee beans harvested in the magical Galápagos Islands.
